Campus Placement Interview Report : 
Government V.Y.T. PG Autonomous College, Durg, Chhattisgarh

The Placement Cell of Government V.Y.T. PG Autonomous College, Durg, Chhattisgarh, organized a campus placement interview on 26th April 2025 for the reputed organization SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. The event was a significant step towards providing employment opportunities to the college’s graduating students and marked another milestone in the college's commitment to student career development.

The interview panel from SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. included eminent representatives: Mr. Sunnet Chaturvedi, Area Manager; Mr. Sudhir Singh Rajput and Mr. Umesh Sinha, Branch Development Manager. Their presence added great value to the event, and they conducted the selection process with utmost professionalism and keen observation.

From the college side, Dr. Satish Kumar Sen and Dr. Alka Mishra, Coordinators of the Placement Cell, played an active and crucial role in organizing the interview smoothly and ensuring all arrangements were made well in advance. Their dedication and efforts were evident in the seamless execution of the event.

A total of eight graduate pass-out students participated enthusiastically in this campus selection drive. Each student went through a rigorous selection process, which included personal interviews where their communication skills, subject knowledge, confidence, and professional attitude were assessed. The interviewers encouraged the students, providing them not only with a platform to showcase their capabilities but also with valuable insights about the corporate world and career growth opportunities.

The atmosphere during the interviews was highly enthusiastic and motivating. Students appeared confident and well-prepared, reflecting the quality education and training imparted by the institution. The interaction between the students and the interviewers was lively, and the feedback from the SBI Life Insurance team about the students’ performance was overwhelmingly positive.

Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, the respected Principal of Government V.Y.T. PG Autonomous College, conveyed his best wishes to all the participating candidates. In his message, he emphasized the importance of perseverance, dedication, and continuous learning in today’s competitive professional environment. The Placement Cell, under the able leadership of Dr. Satish Kumar Sen and Dr. Alka Mishra, deserves special appreciation for their relentless efforts in bringing such esteemed companies to the campus and for opening doors of opportunities for the students.

Overall, the campus interview was a resounding success, fulfilling its primary objective of bridging the gap between education and employment.
