1. 11-12th October 2011 – National Conference on Bioresource: Its implication, alteration and management for the welfare of living kingdom, under sponsorship of UGC.
2. 28th February 2014 - Organized National Science Day function on “Fostering Scientific Temper”, Sponsored by Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology, Raipur.
3. 7-8th February, 2015 - National Conference organized on “Prospects of Life Science for Human Welfare with Special Reference to Chhattisgarh”.
4. 28th February 2015 - Organized National Science Day function in collaboration with Department of Chemistry on “Science for Nation Building”, Sponsored by Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology, Raipur.
WORKSHOPS HELD IN THE DEPARTMENT
Every year we organize Hands on Workshop for the PG students of Biotechnology to make them familiar with the latest techniques and Protocols of the field. The details of the workshops organized so far is -
• 20-23rd January 2010 - Workshop on Hands on Training in Enzymology , in collaboration with Nitza Biological (P) Ltd. Hyderabad.
• 13-15th April 2011 – Combo Workshop on Genomics, in collaboration with Disha Life Sciences, Ahmadabad.
• 24-26th March 2012 – Workshop on Bioinformatics, in collaboration of Indian Bioscience and Research Institute.
• 16-19th March 2013 – A Hands on workshop on Molecular Markers, in collaboration with ATG Lab, Pune.
• 28-30th January 2014 – “Workshop on Bioinformatics” in collaboration with Sai Bioinfosys, Nagpur.
