Realizing the importance of current situation of career and job opportunities among students of commerce department, respected head of the department of commerce and management Dr. H.P.Singh Saluja conducted a special classeson 18/10/2023, Inaugurated by the then Honorable Dr. Jagjeet Kaur Saluja who’s an head of the department of Physics in Govt.V.Y.T PG Autonomous College, Durg. UGC NET Special classes are organized with the objective to empower students and to achieve academic excellence. Led by faculty members and research scholar.

The Department of Commerce hosted a transformative workshop on soft skill within the context of tally ERP 09. Revolutionizing how students approach this vital software from 16/10/2023 to 21/10/2023 in collaboration with computer science department. The session focused on enhancing communication,teamwork, and problem-solving skills, curial for effective Tally ERP09 utilization practical scenarios illustrated the technical proficiency of 150 students who attended and participated in program held on computer lab of computer science department

INVESTOR AWARENESS PROGRAM

The webinar conducted on 24/02/2023 on “wealth management and tax planning “in collaboration with AMFI under discipline of Investor awareness program;in which Mr.Raghunandan Patnayak , national trainer –BFSI was present as an expert speaker to share his experience and knowledge. The session seamlessly integrated tax planning principles, shedding light on optimizing returns while minimizing tax burden. The webinar equipped students with essential financial knowledge and understand the significance of early planning for a secure financial journey beyond academia.
