Ø Course Based Study Projects: The PG students of Microbiology undertake
Project in leu of two theory papers of Sem. III and IV respectively for a
duration of three months (June to August). The Project work done either
external, the students relived for pursue their work outstation at other
institution or laboratory under collaborative arrangements/ Linkages and MOU or
in-house in the departmental laboratory.
The
project work is compulsory for every student comprising 200 marks, as 150 on
Project Report and 50 on presentation and viva thereafter.

Ø Departmental Seminar: Preparation of Power Point Presentation and
Seminar delivery is integral part of internal assessment of PG program. All the
students of M.Sc. Microbiology have to give seminar presentation during each
semester. The seminar topics are allotted beyond the syllabus or related to the
course with a weightage of 20 marks.
